Antidepressants Survey. Please share?

posted Feb 8, 2017, 1:39 AM by MHRUK Administrator
I'm currently doing my second year of the Welsh Baccalaureate in year 11, and for the last project, we must do an Individual Project on our own topic. I am extremely interested in mental health and mental illnesses and am passionate to change the way the world looks at mental illnesses and to get rid of the stigma surrounding mental illness. My essay will be on whether antidepressants cause more damage than good. I'm researching into the effects of them, and how finding an alternative to them could potentially reduce statistics.

I understand that Mental Health Research UK does an incredible job to raise awareness about mental health and so I was wondering whether it would be possible for the charity to share the link to my survey with people who have taken antidepressants/antipsychotics or who are currently on them so that I can collect real data from real people who have experienced the effects - good or bad. ALL DATA IS CONFIDENTIAL. There will be no way for me to see personal details about anyone who has answered the survey as everyone who answers is anonymous.

I would really appreciate it if you could share it with these people as this is an important step towards getting a GCSE - however, anyone can answer the survey, whether they have had experiences with antidepressants/antipsychotics or not.

This is the link to my survey if you would like to review it first - there is no age restriction, anyone and everyone can answer the survey if they wish:

Thank you so much for reading,
